چکیده

Aims: This study aimed to assess the in vitro antibacterial effects of extracts from four wild food fruits: Balanites aegyptiaca, Saba senegalensis, Ziziphus mauritiana, and Raphia sudanica.
Place Duration Study: The samples plant material were collected at Banamba Sikasso, Mali between January May 2018. bacterial strains Research Centre for Biological Food Nutritional Sciences (CRSBAN), University Professor Joseph Ki-Zerbo; Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. experimental parts also carried out CRSBAN October 2019 2020.
Methodology: fruit screened activity against Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, S. aureus, B. cereus, L. monocytogenes strains. diameters inhibition zones (ID), minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) as well bactericidal (MBC) evaluated using agar diffusion method.
Results: findings revealed that these parameters have varied a function species and/or their provenances. All showed significant growth reducing effect all tested bacteria. R. sudanica exhibited strongest growth-inhibiting specifically E. coli (ID = 15.33±0.58 mm) typhi 18.00±1.00 with lower MIC (from 2.08±1.44 5.83±1.44 mg/mL). Moreover, MBC/MIC ratios studied fruits possess mainly bacteriostatic towards strains.
Conclusion: These support local therapeutics properties attributed fruits. They demonstrate that, addition nutritional values, edible could be used developing antibiotics treat infectious diseases poisoning.

Investigation of antibacterial activities of sponge Axinella sinoxea’s extracts from Larak Island, Persian Gulf

Sponges are the most primitive and simplest multicellular animals. These organisms don’t have any mechanical defense system, so their early appearance in evolution has given them a lot of time for the development of advanced secondary metabolites as chemical defense system. Sponges have the potential to provide drugs from chemical components against diseases, such as antibacterial. Antimicrobia...
